ma620 IrDA dongle in Ubuntu
Did I mention I love Linux? Except for scanning (Pixma MP180 is not supported by Canon on Linux) I can do everything I used to do in Windows, and the latest addition to that is accessing my Sony Ericsson K300i via infrared with a ma620 IrDA dongle. c4pp4 has an awesome guide at the Ubuntu forums on how to do this.
