I. Think. I. Saw. One.

Today.

I wasn’t able to find any relevant info on the Universe Today/Bad Astronomy Forum, Google News or Yahoo News now (2.5 hrs later) but I think something relevant will come up in the morning.

It was like… the most beautiful thing ever… ever. The star just lit up growing bigger and bigger, it shined like the brightest white you can think of. For a second I thought that I’m hallucinating or my eyes are just getting wet because of the temperature shift of getting outside of the house, but no, it was damn real. Seconds later it faded out. It seems it was some kind of a gamma ray burst.

Beautiful is a word way too small to explain what that star looked like.
